DESCRIPTION

This 5 days EMS Lead Auditor course, facilitated by CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) equips the participants with the right set of skills and knowledge about environment and related issues, the International best practices available for implementing an effective EMS (Environmental Management System) and the national and international regulations governing environmental management. The auditor course provides the trainee auditors with the background knowledge of environment management systems as per ISO 14001:2004 and the various standardized approaches, types of environmental audits and auditing methodologies based on ISO 19011:2002 guidelines necessary to become an effective Lead Auditor.

CERTIFICATIONS

Lead Auditor Certification

The course attendees are assessed on the basis of

  • Tutor’s assessment of the performance (40%)
  • Written examination (60%)

Individual performance is judged by participation in group discussions, case study analysis and presentations after the exercises in each of the course modules. The delegates are also assessed continuously for their aptitude and skills for the entire duration of the course.
